I believe that every individual can achieve greatness if given the chance. It is here in this arena that dreams can come true. For those who attend this event their lives are forever changed. Our committee and volunteers look forward to this event each year and are very proud to be apart of this.
All events are modfied and take place on the ground so each contestant can be involved. There are no boundries of what they can achieve as long as we help them believe. Together we will help make your childs dreams come true.
We are pleased to announce that our FREE Special Needs Rodeo will take place Friday August 3, 2012 at 415 South Southfields Road in Heber City Utah.
We will begin at 9 a.m. with a Princess Contest for all of those young cowgirls who would like to enter. Check in will be at 8:30.
Our Rodeo will kickoff at 10 a.m. Check in is at 9:30. This event will be open to the first 100 contestants that sign up. The deadline will be August 1, 2012.
All participants will have the opportunity to experience a series of modified rodeo events. Participants will not be on horseback for any event. These events are modified and will take place on the ground.
This will be a fun filled day for the whole family. In conjunction with the rodeo there will also be a Rodeo Clown, face painting, horse rides and food.
This Special Needs Rodeo is a FREE event.
All contestants will be given the opportunity to be presented at our Friday night rodeo as well. If you would like to be apart of our Grand Entry each contestant will receive a free ticket. A family pass of 4 can be purchased for $30.00 with each additional ticket at $8.00. Entry forms can be found at www.gohebervalley.com/mountainvalley_rodeo
For other activities you can attend the Wasatch County Fair. Our carnival will begin Thursday afternoon and run until Saturday evening. Wasatch County Parks & Recreation have given us discounted tickets that can be purchased for $12.00. These tickets can be redeemed on Thursday for an all-day ride pass or on Friday and Saturday for a coupon book of 30 tickets. (Tickets must be purchased in advance to get discounted price.)
Other activities that you can attend are our Country Market, Free Talent Show, Exhibits, a Livestock Show, as well as other entertainment throughout the day. For more information on our fair go to: www.co.wasatch.ut.us
